1. Who we are
techbase (techbase.page) is a product of D-EFFCON Pty Ltd, a company incorporated in Australia. These terms are governed by its laws, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them. By using techbase you accept these terms. If you use it for a business, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to do so. Questions: support@techbase.page.
2. The service
techbase lets builders publish a public page for their products, progress and revenue, and appear on a leaderboard. We host what builders publish; we don't sell their products, verify their claims or endorse them. Any dealings you have with a builder are between you and that builder.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your details accurate and your sign-in methods secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Usernames are not property: we may change, remove or reclaim any username or profile that impersonates someone, misleads, or breaks these terms.
4. Your content
You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt and display it to operate and promote techbase, until you delete it or your account.
Only post what you have the right to post. Nothing unlawful, infringing, misleading, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or impersonating, no one else's personal information without permission, no malware or spam, and no revenue claims you know to be false. Content isn't reviewed before it appears, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice where a breach is serious. To report something, see Support.
5. Connecting payment accounts
You may only connect payment accounts you control or are authorised to connect, using read-only access that you create for techbase. You are responsible for the access you grant and can revoke it at any time. techbase only reads from connected accounts and never makes changes to them.
Revenue figures are imported automatically and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. They show what a connected account received and are not proof of a product's performance or ownership. We may correct figures, and hide or remove revenue we believe is inflated or misleading. You decide which products show revenue publicly.
6. The base and Techbucks
The base and its features may change, be reset or be removed. Techbucks are a virtual in-game currency earned from verified revenue or referral rewards. They have no cash value and can't be bought, sold, transferred or refunded, and they end when your account ends. A referral reward is paid 30 days after the referred purchase, and only if that purchase hasn't been refunded or disputed. We may correct balances, rewards or progress affected by errors or misuse.
7. Subscribers
Visitors can subscribe to a builder's updates. Builders are responsible for how they use and contact their subscriber list, and for complying with spam and privacy laws when they do.
8. Plans and payments
Paid plans are charged at the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable tax, and processed by our payment provider. Lifetime is a single payment that covers your page, base, leaderboard place and Journey for as long as techbase offers paid plans. Prices for new purchases may change; the price you paid won't. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the plan ends. Promotion codes have no cash value.
Refunds. You can request a full refund within 14 days of a payment by contacting us. After 14 days, payments are not refundable except where the law requires.
9. Acceptable use
Don't access other accounts or data, test or bypass our security or limits, scrape or overload the site, create accounts in bulk, manipulate revenue, rankings or Techbucks, or use techbase for anything unlawful.
10. Third-party services
techbase relies on third-party services, including the payment and sign-in providers you choose to use. Their own terms apply, and we aren't responsible for their availability or actions.
11. Disclaimer and liability
techbase is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change or discontinue features, and we don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any information on it, including revenue figures and builders' content, is accurate. Nothing on techbase is financial or investment advice.
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded by law; where our liability for them can be limited, it is limited to supplying the services again or paying for them to be supplied again.
You agree to compensate us for any claims, losses or costs arising from your content, your connected accounts or your breach of these terms.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time under Dashboard → Settings → Delete my profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or where the law requires, without a refund except where the law requires one. Sections that by their nature should continue after an account ends, such as liability, continue.
13. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms. Cookie choices are made separately, in the cookie panel.
14. Changes and general
We may update these terms; continuing to use techbase after an update means you accept it. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
